Google has launched Gemini Live, an advanced AI-powered conversational experience, now available for Gemini Advanced subscribers on Android. This new feature allows users to engage in free-flowing conversations with Gemini, offering a more interactive experience compared to the traditional Google Assistant. Users can interrupt responses, pause conversations, and resume them later, all hands-free—even when the phone is locked.
Gemini Live introduces ten new voices for personalization and is set to expand its capabilities soon. Google plans to integrate Gemini with apps like Keep, Tasks, and YouTube Music, with upcoming extensions for Calendar and more. Additionally, users can ask Gemini questions about what they’re watching on YouTube or use the AI to drag and drop generated images into Gmail and Google Messages.
Google has committed to focusing on speed, quality, and deeper integrations with Google Home, Phone, and Messages in the coming months, making Gemini a significant evolution in mobile AI interaction.
